Symphoria to Suspend Concerts Through the End of March

As news continues to develop surrounding Covid-19, we are sad to announce that Symphoria will be suspending all live, in-person performances at least through March 28. Symphoria Youth Orchestra rehearsals and performances are also suspended until restrictions are lifted.
We are working together to find innovative ways to provide you access to music, during a time that we need it more than ever. We will be in touch this week with all of our subscribers, as well as patrons who have purchased single tickets to our March events, to outline alternative ways we can provide music to you this month.

MOVIES AND THE MASTERS (SUSPENDED)

March 21, 2020 @ 7:30 pm
Crouse Hinds Concert Theater

Violinist Lisa Dondlinger fuses movie themes such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Slumdog Millionaire with well known classical music, such as Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and Stravinsky’s Firebird.

Great music connects us as community members, at every age and in every walk of life. From Brahms to Broadway, and from movie scores to Mozart, Symphoria performances will inspire you. Help us keep symphonic music alive in Central New York for everyone to enjoy.

“Symphoria is an asset to my life and my community.”

Itzhak Perlman concert-goer

Absolutely the highlight of our weekend. Thinking ‘outside the box’ is so refreshing.

Credo concert-goer

It was a wonderful evening! First time back and it was great! I love all the different options there are to choose from. We are so so happy the symphony is carrying on!

New York Connections concert-goer

The Symphoria/Weiss ‘Rhapsody’ was performed to near perfection.
