Symphoria will begin operating three Youth Orchestras for students across Central New York beginning in the 2017-18 season. The Symphoria Youth Orchestras give students with a passion for music an opportunity to develop their skills, refine their musicianship and cultivate an overall appreciation for excellence in music with other similarly interested students. Students will receive coaching from Symphoria musicians, masterclasses with selected guest artists and a side by side performance with Symphoria on stage at Crouse-Hinds Theater. Questions related to the Symphoria Youth Orchestra may be directed to the Youth Orchestra Administrator, Jessica Tumajyan at (315) 299-5598 ext. 235 or JTumajyan@ExperienceSymphoria.org.
Auditions for all Symphoria Youth Orchestras are held annually in June. The auditions for the 2017/2018 season are closed although we are holding auditions for Bass and Viola for all three orchestras. If you play bass or viola and are interested in participating in the 2017/2018 Symphoria Youth Orchestras season, please contact the Youth Orchestra Administrator at JTumajyan@experiencesymphoria.org
